Students,
Great job with the Veteran's Day Program! I am so proud to be a counselor at a school where students show respect for each other, their teachers, and yesterday our Veteran's! Wow almost all of you dressed up and looked classy! 7th grade congrats on keeping our stick! When 86% of students dress up then you know you have a class who works together! 8th grade you should be proud as well!!!
My topic today is FAILURE! Why as humans are we so afraid to fail? If you check out the video some of the most famous people in the world failed miserably, but the key was they didn't give up!!! They turned a negative into a positive and they became better and stronger. Be honest and ask yourself how many of you allowed the fear of failure stop you from trying out for a team or attempting a skill you really wanted to try? I would like to hear from all of you!!!!

I think failure is important because we need to learn from all of our mistakes, and if we dont we would keep making the same mistakes tons of times. Every one fails, even the greatest athletes but mainily they get right back up and keep climbing to the mountain top just like every one should!
