We are off and running!

September is already gone and fall is in the air! With October brings 8th grade conferences, testing, and Halloween. I'm looking forward to meeting with your parents and providing the best conference we can which will include an individual learning plan for each of you! Continue to work hard, stay focused, and smile cause we have alot to be thankful for!

If Nathan could travel anywhere in the world, where would he go? Back to Niagra Falls, where he has been on a tugboat tour called "Maid of the Mist"

What career can Nathan see himself doing? A scientist that finds new energy sources, or a Jet Pilot

Fun Facts: Nathan does Cross Country, KICK, and has visited 30 states on trips he takes with his family

Spirit like no other class!


Great job 8th grade keeping the Gator Spirit Stick! I was not really worried, but the 7th grade did come after it and I don't think they will give up easily. I guess that is why you always respect your opponent but you don't fear them! It has been a good start to the school year and I have enjoyed calling you guys and girls in and catching up on what has been happening in your lives. I started taking kids to lunch this week and the first two places chosen was Yen's and Pizza Hut!!!! I do love to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back at JRG for 2008

It feels good to be back after a fun-filled summer. I have enjoyed seeing all of you again and catching up on your life! 8th grade is a very important step for all of you as you start to prepare for high school, but first we want to enjoy each day of 8th grade and make the most of the opportunities which come your way. A special thanks to Alex Rink for helping me set up some links on our class blog. I am anxiuous to share stories and pictures about my Appalachian adventure and hike!
